For most of history, the shepherd was the one who led and provided. He was out before sunrise, he carried the weight of everything that depended on him, and he did it without an audience.
That figure has all but disappeared. But the role hasn’t.
The new shepherds
Today the ones who lead and build are creators, founders & providers. They take calls from the car at drop-off. They fly out on Tuesday so their family doesn’t have to worry on Friday.
Founder, father, husband, creator. Often all in the same hour. Nobody sees most of it. That’s the job.
